Diabetes Education Centre - Richmond Community Health Access Centre

The Diabetes Education Centre offers an interdisciplinary team of nurses, dietitians, internal medicine specialists and program support. Certified diabetes nurses and dietitian educators offer individual counselling and group health education in 3 languages - English, Cantonese and Mandarin - with translation services for other languages.
Our services include:
Diabetes group education: 2 classes, 1 week apart (4 hours each)
Gestational diabetes group education: 1 class (3 hours) and a minimum of 2 follow-up appointments
Individual appointments with an endocrinologist, nurse or dietitian educator; follow-up appointments as needed
Insulin starts teaching and support.
