Vancouver Integrated Supervision Unit (VISU) - East Cordova Street - For adults with mental illness servicing sentences in the community

Provides intensive supervision and services to clients with mental illnesses serving adult sentences in the community.
They provide intensive supervision and support services to clients with mental illnesses serving adult sentences in the community. Assistance with mental health and substance use treatment, housing, living skills, financial management, and health care is provided in addition to supervision of court orders.

Referral: Clients can be referred to the program through their probation officer, primary care provider, mental health team, or community partner and must have an active community probation order.

Clients benefiting from the additional supports of the VISU team may continue ongoing treatment/mental care with their current psychiatrist; there is no need to change psychiatrist to work with the VISU team.
