Richmond Bridge House - Acute and short-term mental health crisis intervention

A 10-bed residential short stay crisis intervention facility for clients 19 years of age or older who are experiencing a mental health crisis but do not require an acute psychiatric hospitalization. Open 24/7.
Clients are cared for by an interdisciplinary team 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and can be admitted for a maximum of 14 days.

The service provides a safe supportive environment where clients have the opportunity to learn new skills to better manage their illness once they are discharged back into the community.

All referrals are screened prior to admission to ensure the facility is able to provide safe care. ​Clients must be referred by a health care professional. Referral must include physician assessment within the last 24 hours.
